Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Well i have had a ok weekend. I finished as much as i could on my pond on friday, saturday i started the teardown on the grizzly( for some reason it acts like it is running out of gas when i hit the gas) so i am going to tear apart the carb and see what's up, saturday night i decided to go get the new battery that schucks owed me for the 1970 honda cl350 and i decided to try to get that thing going! Well to my amasement the darn thing wouldn't start. I checked everything, spark, fuel, and air! Everything was working the way it was supossed to. So i tried starting fluid over and over and over, just when i was about to throw in the towel it fired. So then i kept trying and trying and it fired again. So i decided to give it a compression start and what do you know it started and it ran like crap but it started and after about five minutes it ran ok. So today sunday i watched movies and road the honda between movies. It was fun. But, i think it's time to tear the old honda apart and bring it back to life again......

Bing, I was thinking about letting Val test the Trailboss out too, But it seems as though she may have that go fast gene that Larry has. LOL. Personally, I think a V-Force as a first machine is a little much. I rode one down at Kent Kawasaki and it was a hand full. Of course it was on asphalt and not dirt. So it did want to hook up right away.

Im still wating for some one to tell me how to get the bold type thing going. Is it something you add to the typing after it is done?
Cuz every time I click on one of the boxes right above the message area, i get some weird stuff.

Some one had mentioned trying to get a get together where the kids would have something to do. What about Chucky Cheeses? Havent been in one for 15 years. Dont even know if they have a meeting room that they loan out. If my memory serves me right, I beleive that there is one down close to the intersection of Kent Kangley and The Benson highway. Ill check it out.

What is next weekend looking like as far as riding? Has anyone thought about it? Just trying to plan ahead a bit.

Also, one last thing. I have a Calbe modem here and it screams but when coming to this thread it sometimes takes forever to lad. Im wondering if like someone else had said, if since this thread is so big its taking that long to load. Hey, we have the record for the biggest thread in the country. Maybe it wouldnt be such a bad idea to start Part II. I have clicked on other thread sand they do load faster. Just a thought.

Hy Mister,If you have an opinion, you better go and vote. If not, doesn't matter what you say. So therrrrrrrrrrre.I'm changing my vote every day, cause I don't know. How much are the V-force by the way............
Best price I've gotten so far, 6800 OTD for both. The V is a 700 only, Scrammy is a 500 4x4.

nwcutie

We know who really wears the pants in the family, we just get a pair we both fit into toghether, aka, shared. Just another case of the man heaving his chest out like a proud rooster, doesn't mean anything, she knows how I really feel, as probably does everybody else

Well good morning folks, I'm still lurking here. The company is opening a new building in two months, wwwwaaaaaaayyyyy too busy, That and the sun is out more now so the House and yard and garage and kid's and the dogs, etc. etc. etc. get's first dibs on my "free" time. I think riding the SP700 is way down on the list. But I did get the Nighthawk out for a quick ride

Happa,
If you are doing any other 'lectric work gimme a call, I can help if you need it.

Sandbomber,
Have you looked at Air-lift air bags for your Ford? Had a set on my 97 Ford Pick-up, really liked the ride and the way they leveled out the truck. I think they were like 200.00 though. But much better that air shocks.

Oooo, if I called it a beater work truck I would be in soooo much trouble

My brother loves the truck and has been bugging Larry about it for some time to give him first shot if he decided to sell. It really is a sweet deal with either of our prices, I just have a soft spot for my brothers

Larry, P-5000 is up near Granite Falls off Robe Menzel road (or is it Menzel Lake road?). Great place for trail riding, although the parking area isn't real big and gets packed. Saturday we had trouble finding a place to park the rig, I'm guessing during peak times it's crazy up there!
