I think it might be related to the starter switch. Before I sent the motor in, it would sometimes tap the starter when I switched it from off to run. Might have not let-go and spun it up. This may be the source of my electrical issues as well, might be producing electricity while being caught up and overcharching the system. This is just a thought, I'll be taking the switch off and checking it out too. Might take the side-cover off and check out the bendix as well, to see if it's ok.

As I look at the starter, it has some interesting information on it... timing off-set, valve lash, fuel octain to be used, lubricant viscosity, idle rpm, spark-plug gap... wtf use is it buried in the motor? too funny.

Actually Cold Creek (no creek) is a Forest Service Campground along with Rock Creek (has a creek) about a 1/2 mile up the road. Cold Creek is a group camp and you need to reserve it. Both campgrounds are FREE.
