Thats an atrocity!!! i cannot believe PSAR would alow such a thing to occur..

 

FYI - If you get there the night before, you can stay at the casino for free. Makes a good time if you get there early enough to go in and have a few drinks and play some cards. Cheech won some $$$ on the craps table then bought drinks for us...

If we get out of here early enough, we will head to the casino Wednesday night and move into our sites Thursday morning.

If you go past Horsfall into North Bend, keep on the main drag and bear left (there's main street that takes you right). You'll drop down along the railroad tracks and the casino is maybe a mile down the road, you'll see the lights.

 

Been there, done that. They'll also send their shuttle out to the campground to get you and bring you back.

If you like oysters, there is an oyster farm (Clausen Oysters) just a mile off the road to North Bend. Just past the road to Horsfall, as you're heading south, take your first left after the small bridge, it's a mile down on your left. Small oysters are $6.00 a dozen!

 

Well, the repair on the predapuss just got spendy... looks like the starter kept engaged while the motor was running and burnt up the one-way, couple gears, flywheel teeth and a few bushings. Parts are ordered and will be installed in short order. Just gotta figure out why the starter kept engaged...

Had a few times prior to the build where switching it from the off position to the run position it bumped the starter. However, that only happend when it was warm. Might be the starter button making enough contact to throw the solinoid and make it not retract.
