Dazeys

Thanks for the tip on the labels, don't think I've ever seen so many warning labels on a quad before. The Raptor didn't have half that many, alittle overkill in my opinion, oh well, they're coming off anyway.

Glad to see you're still alive and posting, was getting alittle worried about you this week. I'll give you a call alittle later tonight to shoot the shet. When are we riding again, need to break the V in, how about some advice in the Break-In procedure for an automatic.

Congrats on the new V. I had alot of seat time on my daughters boyfreinds (Jeepitis) V. He keeps it at my house. It is one fun and fast quad. I have six quads in my garage and the V is the 2nd fastest. My son has a Raptor with an Alien pipe, K&N, And a jet kit that is quicker. Just take it easy until you get used to it.
My daughters boyfreind ( Jeepitis)has had his on it's top 3 or four times getting crazy on it. Hes broke every peice of plastic on it when it came up and over on a steep hill and rolled 4 times end over end. I just welded it back together with a plastic welder. I had to make a rear grab bar too.
The tierods are real weak on it, he has bent both of them. The first one bent on hes 4th ride on a rocky trail. The second one two weeks later. We welded a peice of pipe over them for strengh, and then one of the tierods came apart. He got some aftermarket ones from eBay that are much stronger.
Thats the only problem he's had with it and we ride extremly hard on some real tough trails.
Take extra gas if you go to far as it has a small tank.

Thanks so much for the congratulations, everyone on here has been so awesome and supportive! I'm sure I'll ride quite differently from Jeepitis , I'm a bit of a weenie about things but really like the sand. I think some of the others are hoping to get me out to the logging roads too so we will see how that pans out. Yes I am mending well. Thanks for asking.

Sounds like they're going to town on my quad... hopefully it will be done soon. There are a few other things being done while it's there... ... you know.. airbags...ejection seat... water early warning system... depth sounder... skis... cell phone pre-dialed to 9-1_... self-deploying back-board and neck brace... frequent flyer's card...

I should be ready to ride by the Goldendale play day on March 20th... I'll probably take it easy then too.

Might be planning a short trip to Coos Bay... not sure when, probably after March 20th. Might be a one day ride... Drive down Friday night and ride Saturday then a morning ride on Sunday and head home by 10:00.
