King,
Here are the two motels that are there. FYI, Adam said the Ponderosa was the cheapest and that they are between 3 1/2 and 5 miles from the track.

Ok, I'm still trying to figure this one out.

The MX portion is open at 9:00, is this just for bikes or both?

The GP course opens at 12:00, so is the MX portion part of the GP course? and is the entire course MX and GP open for bikes and quads at this time?

Is there going to be 200 or so bikes and quads on the entire course at the same time at 9:00 or 12:00?

Can you imagine the dust created by that many riders?

Larry
Happa,
The MX portion that is open at 9:00 is for both bikes and quads.
The MX track is part of the GP track. It is a natural MX track and is supposed to be a bit tamer than most, so don't worry about it being to technical.
My advise would be to take your first lap slow and just kinda roll through the track to get a feel for it, and gradually get faster as you get more comfortable with it. Remember, this is what practice is for.

Yes, the entire course will be open for both bikes and quads after 12:00.
But you have to look at it this way; the entire track is over 6 miles long, that is huge! They have even stated that they can have 100 people on the track at once and not have any complaints about crowding. Plus, with the track being about 30 feet wide in most places, you don't really have to worry about being in anybody's way. If someone faster comes up behind you, just hold your line and they will go around you.

Thanks for clearing up my confusion, totally understand now. I'll be sure in hold my line, you will probably be passing me quite frequently on the mx portion and atleast once on the gp course, oh well it'll be a blast anyway. Can't wait till Saturday

I hav a couple of questions for you.

1. Are the lug patterns the same on the Raptor as they are on the 400EX. I figured you owned both so you might know.

2. Im not sure if you are a moderator on this site or not. But if you are, do you have any ability to help me unsubscribe from this thread. I have clicked unsubscribe many many times and it still send me e-mails.

Thanks
Nick
1)the bolt patterns are different
2)go to your 'profile' page and 'uncheck' the subscription option,,,,,,,then go to your 'today' page and on the left there is a column listing all the threads you currently subscribe to,,,,,,delete the ones you wish to remove. Also on each post there is a little red arrow pointing to a piece of paper (that is the subscribe/unsubscribe button).

good luck

Anyone have any ideas how to quiet the Big Gun Down for Saturday? I have a few ideas myself. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
