Well to Kamenga its probably 10 and then maybe 4 or 5 back, but we can judge your threshold at the mission/salmon intersection. If all is well we can continue.

7 miles sounds great to me, I don't need to test out my recent surgery with a 40 mile blast through the forest, besides, the ponds will slow us down a bit. We'll drop in and pay Mr. Binger a visit for sure

I got pictures to prove it. Just had my map laminated. The route i have charted out now goes about 7 miles and if its too hard for anybody they can cut back on mission creek/salmon trails. I would like to continue and drop in on Bing at Kamenga canyon if no objections as i haven't met him yet.
Originally posted by: HappaRap I can remember a certain ride at Capital Forest in the rain with a wet, torn up map and fogged up glasses, swore I'd never go through that again, I'm sure a few peeps on here remember that ride

Looks questionable. Can't really tell from the pics but looks like pretty thin metal for suspension components. Just my opinion.

additionally- that kit will have bad bump steer. they move the A-arm mount points out and lengthen the tie rods. having tie rods a completely different length from the A-arms is very bad. to minimize bump steer the tie rod needs to be equal to the average of the length of the upper & lower A-arms, at the point where the tie rod is placed. good suspension costs $$$.

It's pretty flat, not much elevation gain, but, a nice place to ride, alot of wristbreakers though. The overland trail is my favorite route there, that's the one we're going on Saturday.
Wingdude is still trying to make it, I hope he can, I think he's bringing his Dad and Jenna. It could turn out to be a nice little group, I hope everybody can make it.
Originally posted by: RancherATCrazy Niether of us have ever rode Tahuya. I have heard alot about it, it is no farther than any of the other trails I ride... just never made it there. I am looking forward to seeing everybody though
