Well now, you sure just know that's gonna happen. Especially when you consider how many folks I know that ride AC's. (is that a subsidiary of Allis Chalmers? )
Ten,

You could be on to something there, I'm older than Bear, might be a couple of months younger than you, have an Arctic Cat and once was a featured operator in an Allis Chalmers spec sheet and advertizing loop for the HD11C.

Mike
Born 11-10-41 Not sure if I know the HD11C, is that one of the Alice's that was made off shore and marketed as a Samsung? Did I spell that right? Something around 15 tons or so? Dad had a couple of AC crawlers that were WW2 surplus but I don't remember the classifications. They were about the size of an old D6 or TD18. I prefer the quads I use now to that old stuff.

My bad, HD11E, about 23k, it was one of the first AC's to have hydraulic steering, short levers on the "dashboard". AC came out a lot to get the steering set up right. Should have been 63-66 time frame. Born 3/11/42. I agree, current AC is much more fun.

Yeah, but the old pony motor, armstrong steering, cable blade, manual tilt and angle, open two inch thick seat, short track, low speed ones sucked the worst.
