Tell you what, once I pass pole climbing, that's a deal! Except the painting the fence part. Yuck! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

So how does this work jayna? Do you have to pass the pole climbing to get the job now? How far up do you have to climb?

 

Do you know how hard it is to refrain from sayin things like "Well I got a Pole You can Practice your Low altitude Climbing On" [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Man.

 

I have the job but it is contingent on certifying in pole climbing, which is the first week of a 5 week formal training course. I have to be able to free climb-with no belt-to 22', belt in, walk around the pole, unbelt and climb down by the end of the week of training. I took it 5 years ago, but didn't have the arm strength to free climb past 14' by the end of the week, so I didn't certify. I had no idea what was involved. I did everything else and was perfectly capable of climbing with the belt, but that's the rules. Soooo, that's my only sticking point. Cheech has given me a good list of things to start and I am determined to pass, come hell or highwater. Class starts on the 26th so I have 3.5 weeks to build up. Once the cert is outta the way, there won't be anything else to worry about.
