I'm doing some work on my friends 89 warrior. Her chain is VERY loose. I tried tightening it up but it's still to loose. I was going to take a link or two out and there isn't a masterlink. Is this normal? Justin even looked and there isn't one. Does it need a new chain or what can I do to keep this one? Also the axle moves quiet a bit when I had the quad on blocks. I'm assuming that the bearings are going out in the carrier. I'm looking in the rmatv book right now, and there is quiet a few to choose from. Is the all *****, rear axle bearing kit for $30.99 a good brand?

Why not just get her a new chain and sprokets?if your chain is so loose you cant adjust.... Its prolly time to invest in preventative maintance

agreed,,,the chain is probably stretched out and the teeth are worn

ifyou just get her a chain,,,it will stretch out quickly and be a waste of $$

sprockets, chain, bearings,,,and it will be good for a while
