repack the silencers about every 20 hours. The manufactures quit making them due to emmissions. All of the research has gone towards performance 4 strokes. I do encourage folks to look at Q mufflers like TP, RG, and Big D have. The FMF Q and DRD mufflers are great at keeping the noise down.

I just got a return call from Representative Kristiansen, one of the people I sent that email to this morning. From him, not one of his staff. Pretty cool. He thanked me for the email and heads up regarding SB5544 and for forwarding him the email response from Senator Kline. He was outraged that Senator Kline had the audacity to respond to anyone in such a manner and is determined to fight this bill.
Rep. Kristiansen is an ATV enthusiast and was involved in fighting the last attempt at this kind of ridiculous noise suppression bill a couple years ago. He also stated that ORV taxes and revenues generate most of the money that supports ALL the trails and trails systems in the state, not just the small portion we actually have access to. He sounded fired up to fight this, and not the appeasing politician's rhetoric. I am impressed and encouraged.

Yeah Rock candy is one of the peaks in capitol. Trails open in April but the roads are open year round. There will most likely be an orginizized breakfast followed by trail ride once it opens. Directions i'm sure will be posted prior to. I went last year and it was a really good time.

Well, Bear and I put on something over 70 miles of road riding at Rock Candy today. Now I got some sore spots. We made a big circle and kind of looked over a lot of the area. Quite a few trees had fallen across the roads but have been cut back by the loggers or others. I suspect, from what we saw, the trails are going to take a bit of brush work to allow passage. We found some snow in sheltered spots of the higher areas but not all that much. Weather was great with views of Rainier that were outstanding.
Almost got to pull Bear out of the snow but was visiting with my son on the cell and he managed to extract himself before I could throw a loop on him. Maybe next time.
Going to join the caravan at RMC at 10 AM on friday. I'll have my maroon S-10 with matching canopy if you want to say "Hi".

Tracy, the stock pipes on All CR 80, 85, 125, 250 500's are NOT spark arrested models. Those bikes are marketed as RACE MACHINES, thus not having spark arresters.
