Bill I feel ok, I still have a couple of bruises on my knee but otherwise ok. I'm a little nervous what the insurance is going to say. They are sending someone down to the Yamaha store to look at it. I got the estimate in detail its a pretty long list. And yes they said that the frame by the shock looked stressed. So they put a new frame on the estimate, that right there was $700.00. If they do decide to call it a total loss it all depends on how much I get. I would like another Raptor or maybe the yfz450, but I am not going to hold my breath. I will keep you all informed I should hear something back by friday. All you guys going back to Tahuya have fun be safe and watch for the trees, they'll jump right in front of you when you least expect it. And Larry, Dinger is right the leaves will still be there on Sunday, go riding. Talk to guys later.

to fix that yourself would not be too hard

get the insurance for what you can,,,,the rest shouldnt be too hard

your frame is fine,,,maybe just needs a tweaking

I have some hydraulic frame straightening tools that may help

have you put a tape measure or level on it to see if it is twisted?

 

Dinger, we should be there between 9:00 and 9:30 am. One in our group is a little slow to get moving that early in the morning[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I have missed most of the trees but seem to hit every root. The smaller trees don't stand a chance against the 1000lb tank, or "The Jeep" as the other guys I ride with call it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Just found out the wife is having a Pampered Chef Party on the first so I WILL DEFINATELY BE OUT RIDING ON THE FIRST!!!
I will try to make it out at 8. where you guys gonna meet at?

The wife gave me the go for riding this Saturday. Sort of an anniversary present. What a great wife. I'll be there at 8:00, parked same place as last Saturday. Come on Larry, the leaves will still be there on Sunday. The weather man says Saturday will be the best day.

 

I won't be bringing the kid's, we agreed to play on Grandpa's farm for Thankgiving break. Look for us at the entrance to the staging area where all the jeepers park their trailers. White Ford, Green Ford and maybe a dually Ford w/ a camper on Saturday morning around 9:00am.
