Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

scence you all are talking about tires on our 2 older utes there is BIG/WIDE tires on the back and they both steer different then mine does is it due to the big tires on the back or is it cause they are older? (they dont turn as nice as mine does)

If the rear is wider than the front it causes the front to push in turns so they wont steer as nice. you wanna be sure to keep the front the same width or wider if you want sharper crisper turning.

Ans thats no tire size. just overall width. Wide tires in front can be difficulty to steer. tis the rumor anyway.. I havent noticed that. but it can become a major wrestling match going down the trails when your dimensions are outside the norm. sub 48" is prefferd 44-46 is ideal for trails . it will be the least fatiging. also when you have the big wide tires in back they get more traction on them solid axles so the front end would need to compensate for that. I figured this stuff out dragging a harrow with warriors. if you made the back end narrow (flip the wheels and hubs and make axles narrow. then drag the harrow you can steer all over and never have to let off the throttle wich is important with the tine harrow on hills when the rear is wider than the front. you cannot turn with the harrow

Speaking of tires...

I have a set of HD Holeshots with only one season on em and lots of meat left to ride. I was gonna put em on craigslist but if someone else is interested in buying em let me know..

well i can see needin more traction on some trails but wouldnt it make more scence to get a more aggressive tred than to go with a wider tire. hahaha i know nuttin about nuttin.

edit i know how to hold on
