Is that for Salmon Harbor also? I wonder if we could call up that old crotchety guy and see if he could do something if we had a large group who would commit to going.

We got there a day early as I plan on doing this year as well. The lot filled up the next day from what I remember.
You can call the Chamber of commerce starting april 1st to reserve as I understand it.

For you guys that where there last year, if you arrive on the 1st (which is the first day of Dunefest), do you pretty much have your pick of spots in the parking lot? Did the parking lot fill up the first day?

April first is the day to reserve all camping controlled by the Windy Bay chamber of commerce as I understand it.
The camping is first come first serve, you can not reserve a specific spot in Salmon harbor, at least that's what they told me last year. Big D and I traveled down together so we could park our rigs side by side. We did manage to get the host to let us save a spot for 2many like Big D said, for some reason he took a liking to us. The way it's set up is for angle parking only or curbside parking where 2mny was next to the harbor .

You know that I am, why not ask anybody besides Rod?
We are leaving at noon on Friday, along with Rod and Lisa. We will be camping at the Walmart in Eugene/Springfield.
Probably will be arriving at Honeyman sometime around 10AM or there abouts.
I know checkout time for the person who has it Friday night isn't until 1PM ,but I am taking my chances that they will already be pulled out. I have not had a problem before.
Saturday morning I have a nice leasurely breakfast and a relaxing drive to the campground. No need to rush.

If you had a GPS locator in it the phone company could tell you where to look for it
