DM my wife had a Elantra prior to getting her Sonata. It was a really good car that had a tranny problem on two occasions. It would start acting like it was slipping and not shift properly when pulling a hill. Turned out to be a problem in the way the computer was shifting the tranny in relation to engine speed. I was told they seldom have a problem with the drive train on those cars and after having two of them I tend to believe this to be true.

Hopefully your problem will be fixed in an hour or less.

 

probably the pulse generators have some sluffed friction materal stuck to them...
causes the computer to intermitanly lose speed signal either input or output and lower main line pressure so it will slip..... or it's screwed...J/K ...good thing it's under warrenty
