Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Huge congrats to the WSQR bunch. The poker run was awesome. The trails were in great shape and the traffic wasnt too bad at all. John, you and your bunch should be patting yourselves on the back all this week, you did outstanding. I cant imagine what it would have been like out there if all 400 participants had signed up. There were quads all over the place.

Im totally shocked that when I woke up this morning, I felt great. Usually after a ride like that, and me being an old timer, I wouldnt be able to crawl outta bed without some drugs, but not this time.

And it was great to meet some more of the people from this thread.

Hey Cheech, I almost called ya this morning to see if you wanted to go out to ravensdale to ride. But then I looked at the raptor and asked myself if I wanted to wash it twicer in one weekend and decided not to go. My kid and his buddy went out there. Of course, I figured you wouldnt be ready to rie again so soon anyway.

Larry, next year you better figure out a way to get someone else to do road crossings, cuz riding the trails is funner than ever. And you shoulkd be real proud of me, I spoke with your better half on our way home and I didnt even tattle at all about you. LOL. Geez, Val, you better ask Larry why every time I looked up and saw him, he was putting his finger up to his lips and saying "shhhhhhhh". Hmmmmmm, Dont know what that boy could have been up to.

Anyway, once again, awesome poker run

Once again, I didn't get the call for Ravensdale I'm beginning to think this so called Ravensdale area is just a figment of you imagination.

Yes that was a very well organized event, I had a blast talking to everybody and meeting new people. The road crossing I was at had a left hand turn and alittle whoop section, it was fun watching almost 300 quad riders come down the trail around the curve and hit the whoop section. Only saw one person lose it off the course in that section, and everyone that I had to talk to about peppering workers while leaving the check points understood with no problem. Just remember for future rides, when you leave the checkpoints or road crossings think about the unprotected workers behind you, I won't point fingers but you should have heard the cursing on the radios Just remember these Poker Runs are not DRAG RACES and you are not at Florence DRAG RACING and also remember Raptors that think they are DRAG RACING throw an incrediable amount of roost, whether sand or rocks Thanks to all the participants, you riders were awsome, I had a great time.

Hey Sean, are you trying to get me in trouble? My wife, Cindy, wants to know who Lisa is? LOL.
Don't worry, I talked my way out of it. Don't expect you to remember all the new faces you meet.

Larry, if I had known you were at that road crossing before I got to it I may have stuck my foot out. Didn't realize it was you until I saw the Bronco while I was crossing the road. I told my son about the offer to ride the Raptor. He about died, a Raptor is his dream machine and he's never ridden one. He thinks we should ride together more often. LOL. I just gave him a 400EX and he still dreams of a Raptor. Maybe one of these times my wife could give the V Force a little spin? She wants something bigger but also like automatics.

When's the next ride? Let's get something going up north, say Reiter?

Ok Hap, The next time I can get my son and his buddy convinced to take a few old guys out to ravensdale, ill make sure I call you. I aint gonna take no for an answer more than about 5 times though. Berta wants Val to come out to Ravensdale too. Its mostly wide open roads. my kid was just telling me that since the last time he was out there, they have dug a ditch across the opening to the road, so, I guess ill have to go out and see what it looks like.

Just Kidding hehehehe

I'm so sorry, but I did put Cindy in my post, I just checked and that is what it said. Somebody else must have blew the whistle. Remember Lisa was the one you introduced me to at the end??? The Blonde that you told to hide behind that tree so nobody would see her. heheheh
J/K. It was so late last night, I don't even know where that name came from. I readily admit I forget names. I actually had to read back to previous to find her name. Not sure where I came up with Lisa. Probably cause I really couldn't read anything last night anyway. Anyway, please give my apologies to your lovely wife

No Ole Hap didn't get roosted, happened at checkpoint #1 and the wrong person got peppered or let me say she's not very forgiving, just a thought for futher runs. All the riders were great, very cooperative and thanks again to all the members of this forum who made it out there, without ya'll, it wouldn't have been so successful, and for those of you who couldn't make it, ya'll missed out on a great day
