Ok, what time are ya'll gonna be up there at RMC?
Originally posted by: tencubed MB, you might tell them my son and I drove from RMC in Tuckwila to the Smokey Point CB simply because of the input of people on this forum about your abilities. You introduced me to the sales department folks and they gave me a close estimate of an out the door price on a quad for my grandson. He will be here tomorrow for a couple of days and we will be picking out his new quad. We'll have to get all the rider gear, boots, helmet, chest protector, pants and such. After all this garbage over your changing jobs and canceling paid for orders I wont be driving up north for the purchase. RMC will be happy they still have our business I suspect and it is closer to our place in White Center. Besides, RMC is giving away hot dogs this week. Here is your next question, will it get you out chit when you need it! I would say nothing less than a 600. Get up and go but not too fast, and as soon as you get comfortable on it your gonna want something bigger. And if you get a 250 your gonna wish real quick that you want more go and less slow!

Originally posted by: maggiesboy I got an interesting phone call today. I now have a meeting at Cycle Barn with management at 9:30 in the morning. I told you guys they read these forums.
MB, if you need backup, you give me a shout. Not that you can't take care of yourself, but you know me, I am great for backup.
Customer and employee opinion and word of mouth are an integral part of the success of any business. They owe you more than a verbal apology at this point.

OKAY....... the truth is coming out right NOW
I'm leaving Cycle Barn for a company called Wise Guy Choppers and Customs. They specialize in vintage motorcycle parts and Chopping/ Bobbing Yamaha XS 650's.
Cycle Barn is a great company, but there is no long tern career in it for me. (as the parts manager is only a year older than I am) I have offered and applied numerous times to be a wrench for them. They have passed me up, or not taken me seriously for one reason or another. Those of you that know me, know my passion is turning wrenches, that is what I'm going back too, I have no regrets at all. I was very happy when I got moved to the back room last November. The opportunity came to me last night. I got a phone call from the owner of Wise Guys and the offer of $2.00 more per hour to start, and a great possibility of $20.00 per hour by the end of the summer...... I know I'm a doomass, but I know I can't turn this down.
My wife and I have been through financial struggles, I am done trying to keep my head up. Some of you have known what we have went through, some of you have had no clue. I'm very proud to say, All of you I consider friends. Period. I'm doing this to better my childrens, wife's, and my life. ( And I get to be creative as well).
Upon me giving my 2 weeks notice, I'm 98% sure that I will be released from the Barn immediately , I am fully prepared to deal with this.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.
Bill
