Sorry to hear hat Jayna, thieves do suck. Let us know if there is anything I can do for you.
Got any decent, low-price commuter mo'cycles for sale? I can't afford to replace the car and I really can't afford to drive my truck to work. Geez.

Could have been worse. My laptop and bag of everything(I do NOT carry a purse!)was at work, I had my wallet, cell and keys with me, so other than the car and Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word , and my company ID, I could have lost alot more. AND I am not stranded since I do have the truck. Doesn't really make it better, but I am trying really hard NOT to throw things right now, gotta see some positive.

Damn Jayna I hate to see that happen to such a nice person I got an 84 Tempo that I bought at an auction and put a soft plug in it, I been driving it to work every day and it runs decent, if you need a commuter car let me know, I'll loan it to you or sell it to you for exactly what I got in it. LMK
What's a soft plug? And if you drive it everyday, how you gonna get to work? I can't cost you more money to commute just to help me out.

I am still hoping, but not holding my breath, that they will find my car because it ran out of gas. It was on empty when I went in Costco. Hoping, but not holding my breath, that they find it not trashed completely and my mail still in it. I didn't have insurance to cover the car, so it might be better if they don't find it. Save me the impound bill.

Thank you so much for the offer, I will let you know. Again, I really am glad to know such a fine group of folks.

Thanks TP & MB ! Parked 6 spots from the front door of the Everett Costco this morning at 9:50am. It was busy with people Was in there maybe 20min to get dog food. Came out, felt stupid because I was thinking, why can't I find where I parked my car? I KNOW it's right in this row by the door. The lady who had parked right next to me saw me and called me over saying, you pulled in right next to me. Uh yeah, no car. THIEVES SUCK. One of the few times I didn't take my Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word  in with me, too. Phuckers.
Had a big bag of mail on the back seat so they have my address now. They better hope they don't try when I am home. Guess it's time to start setting the alarm and stop feeding the dog.
That really sucks!
Hopefully you get it back.

I think I got the clutch adjusted correctly now. Re-positioned the lever on the motor THEN re-adjusted the cable length from the middle and then on the lever.
It sure as shootin' hooking up more. Might need some fine tuning with expert assistance at Easton, but MUCH better. Thanks guys.

A soft plug is a plug in your engine block, made of softer metal than the block, that is designed to pop out or crack when your engine freezes due to lack of antifreeze. This is designed to help save the block from getting cracked and ruining the whole engine if it freezes.

Had a great time at Walker today. We rode some tough trails and I loved that it wasn't raining this time.
I need to ride there more often, maybe go up with Dazeys and his crew since they know the area so well.
Got lost a couple of times but had finding our way back!

Jayna, the soft plug or AKA freeze plug is in the block and are supposed to pop out if the block freezes instead of cracking the block. Sometimes in older cars they corode and leak or just pop out. If you need it let me know I can pick another auction car up if I need to, I would rather drive my truck anyway as diesel is cheaper than gas again

Got a call at 11:45pm from the Tulalip Police. Found my car parked across from the old casino! I have my car back home now. Yeah! Thank you to Ron and DJ for helping me get it home.

Stereo is still in it, and almost everything is there. Found a key broken off in the ignition that they used to jimmy it, but it came out with a pair of pliers and my key still worked to start it right up. It was past empty, which is probably the only reason I got it back in one piece. They didn't have enough fuel to get it too far out of sight and couldn't totally trash it at a main intersection in mid-day.
Sorted through it a little before the officer left. Haven't found my company ID yet, of course my Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word Spam wordSpam word  is gone, but I think they left most of my mail, including a bank statement and the other miscellaneous crap. Officer says they may have copied down enough info to use later, so I will put alerts on everything and keep a closer eye out here at home.
Hope they were dumb enough to ingest the horse meds that were missing.

Interesting...she said they have been finding these guys with handicapped placards in their possession when they get caught. She indicated they target front parking spots by having someone sitting in the handicapped spots watching for you to go in, then use 2-way or cell phones to notify their accomplice when they can take your car. They drive it to the next spot, park it and take another one. I will certainly be more alert from here on out. Time for some kind of anti-theft systems, even on the crappy car.

G'nite PSAR.

Funny how that works, gas is going up, diesel is going down.

Jayna

Glad you got your car back. I hate thieves something awful.

On our old car I had put in a second switch, just a toggle, in a hidden spot under the dash that could be easily reached. By shutting it off the car would crank over but not start. worse case would be a dead battery.

Morning PSAR Gotta go do our visits.
