So is there any interest in doing the Poker Run sunday June 24 at Capital forest? Or would there be more interest in either Moses or Sandlakes that weekend? A long day trip to Sandlakes on Sat. How long is the drive to Sandlakes? It couldn't be any longer then the day trip a couple of us made to Goldendale.

I might be interested in the poker run. What level riders will it be? I might have a relative newbie that I might bring if it won't get him killed or **** off other riders. I haven't ridden a poker run, so don't know what to expect...
Sandlake is always a possibility, but keep in mind it's going to be packed. School will be out so it will be a busy place.

I have not been to this Poker Run. Last one at Shelton we ended up with 8 of us. 3 of them could have been considered newbie's and we just stuck them in the middle of our group until toward the end when they insisted that we go on at our faster pace. Then we just waited for them at the checkpoints.
The question is can he keep up with U at Ur slow pace? Do U have a slow pace?
It should be a good time if we can get enough interested.

For the Poker runs it is trails set with signs with checkpoints every couple miles that U draw a poker card. 5 checkpoints equals Ur Poker hand, best hands get prizes or trophies. It is not a race and usually everyone is going in the same direction, with sometimes backups or traffic jams caused by either checkpoints or small slower kids, or even mud holes.

Yeah, he's 15 and invincible. He can keep up with my slow pace pretty well so far. He would be on the Wolverine, so he only has so much speed to work with, too.
Count me in, tenatively at least. Sounds like fun! What about Paul, Judy and Dillon?

I gave them a heads up, they are itching for some sand(fleas) but they probably will be able to go.
