Hey everyone,
As always it was a great ride! It was nice to meet some more of the people on the forum! I must have road a little hard though, I can hardly walk. At least I don't have to work untill Monday.
Troy and I are really considering going next weekend! If we can arrange a place for our puppies, we will go down early on Saturday and get a hotel for Saturday night. Can anyone recommend a place to stay or let us know what a town close to Beverly is? I looked up Moses Lake and the rooms were going for $55/night. Has anyone decided which one we are going to? Please let us know also if there is a place we could get a hotel that would be inbetween the two, I think we need to reserve it as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Larry,
How is your thumb now? Thanks for the talk up, I am thinking about joining the Pro Circuit in the Spring.

Hi everyone...
Teresa and I are considering Moses next weekend but I need to know how far it is and how long it takes to drive one way from say Hwy 18 and I-5...please help.
Also, just got back from EASTON and there is 1-2" snow on the ground and the dirt is frozen solid, WOW what great riding conditions. There is supposed to be some more snowfall soon so the conditions will not be this great for long though.
Larry...Teresa and I will be riding all winter long, we just need to find someone to watch the little one if we both go. I'll be riding all winter anyway. (Teresa said it was OK)

That would be great if ya'll could go, are you looking for a person to look after the little ones or a kennel? There's really no place near Beverly except for the Vantage motel, not even sure it's open, and that's about 10 miles or so from Beverly.
It looks like the majority is going to Moses, Jim, who had the warrior at Easton, and the black raptor at Tahuya, has a group of about 10 people camping, 3 groups from this area, 2 groups from Spokane. So there's going to be alot of people riding together and looking out for each other.
I don't believe there's anything inbetween Beverly and Moses, really your best choice would be staying in Moses Lake or do like Rusty and myself, drive back that night, that's what we always do anyway, we never spend the night.
The thumb is doing fine, thanks for asking, and I know what you mean about being sore.
Val wants to know if your little ones would eat our cat, if not she would be interested in watching them, then I would help out Saturday night and Sunday with them.

Larry,
I think Troy and I have decided to just make it a day trip. It is only 3 1/2 to 4 hours, not bad. Thanks for offering to watch our dogs but they chase my inlaws cats when we visit there and Max's mouth is so big that a cat would fit right in. It is about a 90% chance that we will go for a day trip, just like the rain this time of year. Do you want to meet somewhere and travel to Moses Lake? What time would you guys be leaving?

From I-5 and 18, it's about 175 miles, about 3 hours
From 18 and I-90, it's about 144 miles, about 2-1/2 hours
This of course all depends on how fast you drive, the roads will be clear, good weather all the way, best time to go before the nasty weather sets in, at least in the mountains.
This might be the last time I go to the dunes, unless we take the paddles and ride in the snow, it's gonna get mighty cold over there real soon.

Rusty and I would be more than happy to meet up with ya'll at the Wally Mart in Auburn, where Troy met us to go to Easton, and if anyone else wants to caravan over, let us know.
