Hey I am installing this cherry bomb on my new quad and it says to remove the spark arrester or whatever is that gonna be ok? I always hear that DNR is out there lookn for people riding with out em? Does the cherry bomb compensate for that?</end quote></div>

No, the CRBM won't compensate for that. What the CRBM does is change the fuel mapping on the EFI to compensate for you adding more airflow when you pull the airbox lid and peashooter. I installed a spark arrestor on mine after I did that.

The spark arrestor is a screen across the exhaust that catches any ignited debris that might be expelled from the exhaust. I used the after market screen from my Yoshi TEC kit from my z400, but it shouldn't be too hard to make something yourself with supplies from the hardware store.</end quote></div>

BUMP.

If you are re-installing the stock peashooter in the exhaust, then you do need to put the airbox lid back on and pull the CRBM off. Read above for explanation of what the CRBM does. Spark arrestor is a different subject.</end quote></div>

BUMP

If you don't want something with alot of power but still have power to beable to do your whoolies and stuff like that a 80 or 85 is perfect, I think.</end quote></div>

Morning PSAR! [img][/img]

It was 106 degrees in my server room this morning I am now the administrator of a non existent network until my AC get's fixed [img][/img]</end quote></div>

Thats no good.. I have a mainline from the AC duct direct to the server room plus its got its own exhaust fan so i can fire up that in a pinch and leave the door open and keep it cool.

I don't know anything about that area, so something easy to find/get to.

I will have to check when I get home, but it seems to me that the stock spark arrestor/peashooter is one welded unit that can't be separated. That's why I suggested the above. Once you pull the peashooter/spark arrestor, you have no option to just re-install it without putting the whole thing back together. That's why you ordered the Yoshi screen. If you are putting the stock spark arrestor back in, you will have to pull the CRBM and put the airbox lid back on.

Since this isn't a speed race, it won't make a difference in the end. But the flyer says you have to have a spark arrestor. I think.
