Had a great weekend of camping and fishing at Alta Lake! My parents met up with us and my Dad brought his boat so we were able to get to the good fishing spots. Gonna have trout tonight!!

That was about mid way on the trail and had more room for parking. I won't be going cause it's a weekend but that was a nice place to camp, water right there and you could ride both ways. Also a lot closer to a paved road. Just a thought.</end quote></div>
Rod said that road is #19, I'm still trying to find that road on any map, I think it's on the detailed Forest Service Map that you can buy at the Ranger Station. Rod will have to chime in on exactly how to get to that camping area when he gets back from his camping/fishing trip tonight</end quote></div>
I looked for that camping area in my campground book and on my Atlas and Gazetteer, this is what I could figure out.
Take Hiway 410 accross Chinook Pass, BEFORE you get to Naches turn left onto Forest Road 19 (may also be called FR1900). You will pass the Ltiile Naches and Kaner Flat campgrounds. Then it will be a search, maybe Forest Road 1914. In any case the road should take you past the sign at the end of the trail.
