Anyone have a log splitter I can borrow for the weekend, or even a day? Holie crap I have a lot of work to do around the house in the next 2 weeks. [IMG][/IMG]</end quote></div>
A 12lb maul?</end quote></div>
Have that, been trying to plug through it, but I haven't been able to get home before dark most nights. Have about 1 cord done and about 5 cords to go. It's great exercise, but I actually need to have it done so I will have heat this winter.

OK my Quad guru friends.

Here is the issue I need some suggestions on.

My Z400 clutch is being weird.

Under no load, when the quad is cool or just warmed at an idle, or regular straight road riding, I can get my clutch adjusted so it operates properly, goes into nuetral, shifts smooth, etc. I tighten everything down so the adjustment doesn't change.

As I trail ride, and the clutch heats up from tractoring through obstacles, the cable gets very slack, shifting gets very difficult, to the point that I have to shut the quad off to find neutral, get out of reverse, etc. Unable to get it to go into neutral while it's running either. Consequently, this all means the clutch isn't disengaging all the way when I pull in the clutch lever.

When I get out of the trail, or sit and let the bike cool down, the cable tension returns to "normal" and the clutch operates better.

I have replaced the clutch and had heavy duty springs installed at the same time. Pull on the lever is relatively easy at all times as well. Replaced the fairly new clutch cable.
Tried regular Moto-oil, briefly, then back to Amsoil synthetic 4-stroke oil. No improvement.

Just don't know what else to look at from this point. HELP!!!

Of the 3 yamaha's they all run (ok one takes a lil convincing it wants to run and doesnt start if you kill it without a push) But the only reason it takes convincing is by my own fault. If i woulda never changed to an aftermarket carb it would be all good.
