Just trying to stay close to home during the high gas prices, we'll make a trip down south this summer, but for now doing selective riding in our area [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Sorry to hear about the head gasket, that's a big problem with built engines, too bad you can't fabricate your own gasket. I know with the built raptor motors they have same problem with head gaskets.

What a good day for us. Left hours later than I wanted [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] But we left.


I'm very grateful MojaveBoy was able to borrow a trailer from a buddy. We fit all 5 quads and riding gear on it.
But wish the guy took care of it a little better.
Front tool box only held on by one bolt, we'd of lost it on the trip down without a doubt.
Also, had a nail in one tire, that he said he just didn't get fixed. So, to Les Schwabb we go. They fixed it for free as usual, even though it was't there tire.
Then noticed one tire was pretty bald, but thought it would be ok.
About 10 miles from Longview, blew and totally destroyed the tire we just got fixed. Luckily we got off the road with no problem.
Called Les Schwabb, came to the rescue. The guy checked all the other tires. he found a couple spots on the bald tire where there were holes and the cords showing. So, off to Schwabb we go to replace that one also. Don't want to take no more chances. Since he had no spare tire either. After almost $200 later, off we go again.
Wow, did it rain hard a couple times on the way down. Couldn't see much at times. Hope others have a safe trip.

We made it, and off to ride we go tomorrow. This will be a fun trip. Yahoooo.

Sean, If I had known you needed a trailer, I would have let you borrow mine. Keep that in mind for next time. It is a 16' flat bed.

Larry expect to have a good time at the Poker Run, We Did! Weather held out for us till the very end, then started pouring. Ran across a few of the WSQR folks, Dave-QuadFamily?, Great ride, lots of mud and mud holes, prepare to be very muddy. Trails were good mixture of tight and technical but more open ones then Belfair. Short course is only one allowed for Quads, but was plenty long, actually seemed as long as Belfairs long course?? A couple of the typical run-ins with bikes, and attitudes, just tried to be courteous and move over when possible, most thanked us, but a few bad apples. Did see more kids then expected, and we liked that and tried to give them space, encouragement, and high fives, but didn't hear any bad comments about them being slow or trail hogs like us QUADS.
