You should weigh in all the benefits that go along with the pay, the total package just might look very sweet

I agree, last time I checked there was a sever shortage of class A CDL drivers. Having a Haz-Mat and a couple of other add-ons makes getting a job easy. Problem is most folks that come out of the schools are way short on ability. Where my son trains they get these guys and then, after another six or eight weeks of training, they are able to handle a truck without killing someone and keep their paperwork in order to avoid problems at the scales. Companies like Swift pay a person for going to school, not that well, and for the time they are with a trainer. Another way to go is like TP said, OJT. Not that easy to do with a lot of companies but it can be done.

Speaking of sand, just a reminder of the April Winchester trip.
The dates are April 24th - 27th. I have reserved group site C. There are 4 other reservable group sites and the rest of the regular sites are first come, first served.
The site I reserved is now full, those going are:
Rod and Cindy (Red400exRod)
Rod and Lisa
Larry and Val (HappaRap & Hollywood)
Jayna (LdyJay)
Randy & Julie (RaptorRandy)
Chris (S250)
Bill (Firerider)
I'm really not sure if we can get any more rigs in that site.</end quote></div>
Rod, change of plans for Julie & I, we will be going down April 20th and staying in a single site at Half moon bay so you can give our spot in the group site to anyone else that wants it. Can't wait till April now[img][/img]</end quote></div>
Well bummer you won't be with us.
OK, that leaves room for another rig in the group site for the April Winchester trip.
Any takers??</end quote></div>
I'll still be there, we'll still hang out and ride, Were just going to make a vacation out of it and be there longer. I'll get a single site as close to the group site as possible. I'll still be throwin sand on that pirate bike
