Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

OK, all this talk about Easton is making me want to go load up the truck and camper right now! The problem is I still need to use the truck for work all week. I am taking Friday off to unload all the tools and canopy and to load the camper on. Then hook up the trailer and load the quads, cooker, cooler and whatever else is needed.
Should be leaving here by 5:00PM Friday (hopefully). Two hours later we'll be in Easton (traffic willing).

I just put two 3# London broils in marinade for the potluck dinner next Saturday night. They should be good and tasty after almost a week in the marinade.
Cindy is going to make some brownies for dessert Saturday night!

Hi Larry,
We had a fun weekend up on the upper Skagit. Went on a short hike to the top of Ross Dam. What a veiw from thereKind of a steep hike back to the truck. About an 800 foot elevation gain in about 1.6 miles of trail. Too much uphill hiking for this old guy! Was wishing I was riding instead.
Nate is hanging out with friends tonight. His recruiter is picking him up tomorrow night at 7:00PM. We will get to see him Tuesday night and have dinner with him, then he is off to Kentucky on Wednesday morning. Won't see him again until late October.

Make sure you save me a good site over at Easton. I like to take the camper off the truck right away so we don't have to climb up and down the whole time. Get me a nice level spot. I'm sure they are all good though.

There's four sites that are drive thru, side by side and level, there's not a bad site reserved and all seven are in sort of a circle, the other three you kinda back into, but they're all together.

WELL I'm BACK

MAN what a weekend of DUNE RIDING, IT WAS AWESOME. The sand was real light & fluffy & it was SUNNY.

Thank you YoDaddy, MTJEX, PTRAPTOR, SKIP we had fun chasing you guys, IT WAS AWESOME.

Did i forget to say IT WAS AWESOME dune riding!!!!!!!!!
It was our pleasure Big D! We had a great time. The sand was perfect, the sun was out, and everyone rode a nice and relaxed pace. It was fun to ride with people who enjoy exploring as much as shredding. I can't believe we found stuff I had never seen before!

After you guys left, MTJEX decided we would be doing Winchester before we went home. I was ready to leave, but I'm glad he talked us into it. It was awesome as well. The sand was talcum powder soft! Once again, perfect. Banshee Hill just aint what it used to be though. Half the hill has been drug down to the flat, so it isn't as steep as it was a few years ago. I hit third and never shifted down. In previous years it was touch and go to make it on anything but high-horsey machines. I watched a girl go up on a stone stock Z-400, so that took some glamour out of flying up it as well. There did seem to be some new tree island trails that where even steeper. I haven't gone to Winchester or Spinreel in a while, I was pumped afterward.

I hear ya Bing. There is something like 5 days of work between now and then. It feels like December 24th.

Yup,,,,

I am looking forward to going,,,,,,,,its just the whole getting ready thing that has me puzzled.

I just hope Julies back is ready for what she is in for (unloading all the tools and lumber from the trailer,,,and then loading all the camping stuff,,,and the camper)(and then reverse order when we get home).

Her performance dictates when I leave. (im not accustome to being so dependant),,,,,I just want to load up and go right now!!!
