Not much luck getting the Bronco fixed, or finding a truck.
Honestly I haven't really tried .
If you want to call and take over our reservation, feel free to do so. You can just put or deposit towards your bill. Our reservation was for the whole week, so just tell her what days you want, and she can cancel the rest. I can't find their number, and you know them pretty well, so I figure it would be easier for you to tell her when you want it. Just let me know if you get ahold of her.
We sure wish we were going, pretty dissapointed, but we'll survive and make it next time.
Have a great time.

Well, tonight is going to be an emotional night.
The Army recruiter came and picked Nate up last night and took him to the Holiday Inn Select in Renton. Today Nate had to go through a physical (again) plus all the other tests and pokes and prods that he has been through once before. He gets his travel breifing today too.
He has free time (the last for a long time) from 3:30 this afternoon until 4:00 AM tomorrow morning.
I just got home to take a shower and wait for Cindy to get home. Then we go to pick up Katie (Nate's girlfriend) and we all head down to see him one last time tonight. We're going to go out to dinner some place down there (I don't know what's around that area in Renton), I'm sure we'll find something.
Then we'll all say our goodbyes, and we'll head home. I know it is going to be real hard and Cindy and Katie (and not real easy on me, to tell the truth).
I'm losing my riding buddy, so I'll be bugging all of you for someone to ride with.
Gotta now, I'll talk at you guys later.

I absolutely know what you're going through, I went through it myself when my son left for the service.
I will never forget taking him to the airport and hanging around with him and a few other guys that were leaving too, I took pictures of them all and they were such boys back then.
It's amazing to see the man he has grown into when I look back on those pictures now and remember back. It is very difficult for awhile for the folks then you start to get a little better and then you start getting mail from them which brings it all back again. It really does get better but I have tell you I thought I didn't have any tears left when I would think about him sometimes
My son always tells me "Thanks" for letting him be who he wants to be and for supporting the decisions he has made all these years especially going into the Marine Corps as he knew how hard that was on me. I think one of the things I am most proud of, is his determination and drive to join the service. It also has made me a very service supportive mom to all those in any branch, although I have to admit I am a little more partial to the Marines
No matter how proud our kids make us, when they take steps to do something that can eventually help many people, that is when we find pride that we never knew we had in us.
I don't even know your son but I am proud of him too.
Take care and see you two this week-end,
Val

Just logged on for the first time. I hope to get to know a bunch of you, my family just got our rides. I have an 04' YFZ 450, wife has a Raptor 350 and my 4 year old son has an Eton 40. We are looking for people to ride with here in the area.

Raptor 350 is a great trail bike, it is very plush, decent power. This is my wifes first "playtoy" and she took to it very well. We rode juniper and beverly this last sunday. She has sand gecko tires, and everything she tried she got up and over. I would say overall the 350 is a good bike for all purpose. We actually started our weekend in Walla Walla at the fairgrounds. I got to put my 450 on the horse track before the Monster Truck show. WHAT A RUSH! If any of you get the chance to get on a horsetrack, do it. I was in a drift through the entire corner. What a great time!

Hi Guys, Just thought I'd check in. I am currently sitting around waiting for work to call. This is definitely a strange job that way. Easton sure sounds like a good time, I hope you all have fun.
I came away from the dunes scathed! Cracked frame, and now it wont start without a pull. I have totally lost all power from the battery. After I put the quad in the garage sunday night, I went back in to grab something, and the lights where on. So I tried to start it and nothing, the lights and neutral light went back out. Does anyone have any ideas? Battery? Short somewhere? I pulled apart the kill switch and it seems to be okay, and the fuse was good too. I'm stumped.
