Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hey BigD,

You are right, there were lots po'd when they closed the ORV park, from jeepers to motorbikes to atv'ers, etc. The same goes for lots of other areas that we do not have access to.

But I have to respectfully disagree.
Forcing that gate open, or whatever they used the Foreman to do, was illegal, period. That is a closed area. Had they got caught, it would have made all quad riders look bad. Would be the same had a jeeper or motorcylce guy done it. Most people probably mean no "harm" when they ignore signs like No Trespassing, Private Propery, Closed to Motorized Vehicles, etc. They just want to ride. But the bottom line is that it is wrong and illegal, and make whatever group they are from look bad.
Again, I am not attacking the person, but the activity that he describes.

We all just want to ride our QUADS, I don't think ( I hope) any of us want fellow QUAD riders doing stuff that would jeopardize that for all of us.

We may have to agree to disagree on this one

With a little help from my buddy and his honda foreman 450s we opened the back gate to the track, I think its still open but they might have locked it up again i dont know i havent been there in a month.
FROM HAPPA
There's responsible people and groups working on getting it opened back up for our use, legally, unfortunately your way just adds firepower for those who wish for it to remain closed.

You guys need to lighten up, i'm sure this person meant no harm in trying to ride on this property. We were all POed when Thurston County closed this place, all this person wanted to do is ride his QUAD.
Sorry but thats my 2 cents worth
Bigugly,

If you want to ride Easton, let me know, costs $5.00 a quad to access the trails from the Silver Ridge Ranch, but you also have secure parking, bathrooms and showers. I don't know the area as well as NWQF, Bing or JoelRichard50 but I can get you a full day of riding and hill climbs with no problem, thanks to what they've shown me. Just remember very dusty right now, but it's a great place to ride.

Don't get me wrong, forcing your way into anything "I'm totally against", breaking the law is just that. I think this guy was havin an on-line chat with another guy about riding in an area and made a mistake in judement of what he said on-line, thats all. Happa,

you guys rode your tushes off that is for sure, lots of miles. Great job climbing JRL Hill. Have to rename it after all the blood and sweat that was left on that lil ol' hill this weekend. You guys deserve it, not much else would be worthy of renaming it after how you guys tackled it.

I hope BINGs back gets better so he can ride next time. He did get to make numerous "test" rides on just about every quad there though . I'll tell you what, the BINGinator is very knowlegable about the quads he has and has been around. He worked some of his majic on a couple of the quads there this weekend. I can tell you Mark, you were a great help for my brother, Thank You. With bad back and all, he was more than willing and actually offered to help both Larry and my brother to either help tweak or troubleshoot a problem. He dove right in there. Thank You.

Just sitting around listening and watching ALL these guys, is great for me. There is so much knowledge and experience to learn from.
I learn a lot whether we are sitting around the camp fire, or coming down JRL Hill (formely Bill's Hill).

If anybody ever gets really hungry, just plan a potluck with this bunch. They did some great cooking and could have fed 100 people this weekend.

I can't imagine how many people we would have at a ride/campout if we got the majority of people on this thread to come. My best guesstimate is we had about 27 people this weekend, which includes some day visitors.

Here's my best guess, please add anybody I missed

Joel & Jolene + her mom and a couple others for a day
Nick & Berta + their son and his girlfriend for a day
Larry & Val
Mark & Julie + of course Rex
Rod and Cindy + There cute lil 15 y/o (wow) dog (OMG I don't remember her name)
Brett & Yvonne + 2 kids
Sean & Tam + 3 kids + their horse Jake
Bill for a day
Karl & family for a night

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYBODY FOR THE FUN TIME. LETS PLAN THE NEXT ONE ........................

Bing,

Thanks for adjusting my floats, it did awsome on the hill climbs, now if I can just remember to stay way foward on that switchback over the root, I gave it an 8.5
