You do need a flag, its not a state park. It costs $15 a day to ride. Its around 700-800 acres. 80% of the park is sand or more like pea gravel. There are some woods in the northern and eastern part. Its an old gravel pit so there are all kinds of hills some are pretty gnarly. If you go on a weekend get there a little early cause there will be a line waitng to get in.

i dont know if any of you have ever been to st. joe's state park in missouri but this kinda sounds similar to it. ive seen it on tv once but it was a 4 by 4 tv show so they only showed mammoth rocks that they were trying to climb straight up so idk

Default question about Badlands Indiana

Badlands is a pretty cool place to ride.
15$ to get in for the day, 20$ for 2 days.
Its 700 acres in size. It was a gravel pit for years untill troy bought it and turned it into a riding area.
Its mainly a lot of pea gravel, Some call it a sand pit, (it aint sand).
Its got some pretty nice hills to climb. It also has some wooded area to dodge trees.
You do need a flag. You can buy one there for like $15.00.
Im gonna be there with some buds on sunday aug 10th.
Badlands website is www.badlandsoffroad.com

They have a camp ground right at the enterance don't they? The last time I was there they were building it and that was about a year ago so I would guess it should be open by now.
