Who's going to VA Sports Park this weekend?

Outlaw arena cross track near Richmond VA, open a couple of times a year on Friday and Saturday. Stadium seating for spectators and they pay $15. Riders pay $40 to practice all day and race at night. There is a concession stand with food and drinks. I just got off the phone with the guy that runs the races, Frog, and he needs more riders or the owners are going to close the track. They run an amateur class and a pro class for quads, the pro class is for $$. It's a fun track, a table top, 2 doubles, a whoops section, and a real SOB of a jump that only a few quads double and a handful of bikes can triple. All the jumps are square and they keep the track watered down between motos. Nice folks down there, I hope it isn't their last race. I'll be there on Saturday racing in the Amateur class.

A couple of fast quads down at VA Sports Park yesterday. Speaking as a greenhorn MX'er, I think the YFZs are going to dominate MX, they are really quick. During practice motos, I was happy to stay in the top 10 with mixed Pro/Amateur quads (my first season). Saturday night's race was rained out, next race weekend is the middle of SEP. Heard a rumor that they may open the track to year-round practice and racing, that could be interesting. Met a couple of forum members, learned that a cheap rain fly is not as good as the EZ-up brand, and flirted with a beautiful young lady on a YFZ450.
