Anybody going to St Joes this weekend?

 

I had a familly trip.

Was there many fast bikes up there Sat and Sun?

I think we're planning a big ride Sat Sept 27.

Lots of fast bikes there and a lot of slow ones. I actually won a race or two myself. Of course, there were some bikes prepared by some guy around Piedmont that kicked my butt... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Met Pudjumper there and another guy that rides a Raptor. Both of them beat me of course but the Raptor guy had just bought his one son too and I could out ride him. At least that day.....next week will be different.

They were racing on the back side and around on the river bottom side on wet ground. Lots of good runs but a lot of idiots that were racing in and out of the spectator pack too. Almost got hit by some nitwit. Next time I'll hide in the trees..LOL

Didn't buy the Griz...but....did sell the Blaster today that you saw out there. Working a deal on a new DS650 with a local dealer here!!!!! I hear they are as fast as the Grizzlies.

It was nice meeting you this weekend 400CatDriver. We rode Sunday and there were more races than Saturday. I think there will be alot of race ready riders this coming Saturday. I can't wait to ride the Baja again....sore butt from the EX.

I'm looking forward to this week end. I got a new motor to try . I will try to work some of the bugs out before I get there Sat.

I hear that there is an R-1 Raptor coming out to play. You all better start tuneing.

Don't know if we get to come or not. Big work party this weekend to repair the dam on the property. If that falls through we'll be there.

May have made a deal on an '04 DS 650 tonight. Good price on it.

Looking at the new DS650 but I'm thinking that the season is about over and I'd hate to waste the warranty period. How long does the season, as in folks down there running and playing, last down there? When does it end and then start back up?
