In NY, most ATV clubs have legal trails. The NOCATV club rides legal trails in Onedia county, north of Utica and Lewis county has over 400 miles of legal trails on county land. So join a club near you!

Hello fellow NYers. I'm in Orange County on the PA boarder. I was thinking of checking out the extensive trails on PA State Lands but all require registration/insurance. I have 4 quads and 2 trikes. The trikes and one quad have been in the family for years and the other three quads were bought second hand years ago. None of the vehicles are registered and at this point no paperwork exists on any of them except maybe the 1980 Honda 110 because my father probably kept the original registration for nostalgic purposes.
Do any of you have any idea how I can register any of these bikes with NYS DMV? Their website reads that if you don't have the registration from the dealer you need Bill of sale from each person the ATV was owned by over the years to trace back to the original purchaser. Some of these people are dead at this point and others I don't even remember who we bought the bike from years ago.

New to the forum, from WNY south of Buffalo. Anyone from the area know of the power line trails off Boston-State Rd in Boston? From an aerial it looks like it goes for miles, but not sure if it's a cop/DEC haven to nab riders. Interested if anyone has ridden it.
