how far is the croatan from new bern??? Im from nags head, i have to go a long ways to get any good trail riding.

 

I grew up in Morehead City and Newport. There are some good trails down off of Hwy 24. It is about 45min to an hour from New Bern. I was just talking to Dirtrider this weekend about maybe making a trip down there one weekend. The trails are mostly all sand from what I remember. But with it being hunting season I wouldn't reccomend riding any day except for Sun. The hunters down there get pretty territorial!
