Pulled the head off my bike. Head gasket was torn. I have one on order and should make it to me by the weekend.

I wanted to be there.

Meaner, how did you do? I heard 401 took 2nd in his class. Who was the top 4stroke?

Well when I signed up they asked what cc I was and mods. I told them and they said since I was on alky Id have to run in the pro open. They asked if I had a swingarm and I said stock. I told them I would have no chance in that class. They said they probably couldnt do anything because of so few classes and the cost. When I went to the table to draw a number later they said I was in the next class down which I think was 650 and up. I was so glad I wouldnt be in the pro class. Alot of bad shees and heavily modded quads. The craycrafts were having to run in it. I waited through all the pros and draw 4th in the next class. I had also entered my Raptor in that class. It was 1st then my DS 4th. Kevin ran my Rap and won then I raced a pretty quick baja(stage 2)I think. I won and then was to race my Rappy. As I lined up the girl at the line asked if I was running alky. I said yes and she said that I couldnt run. I pulled off and my Rappy ran the baja and lost. He went on to win the class. I asked her why they put me in that class and she said thier mistake and gave me my money back. I was a little bummed. My Banshee lost with my sisters son on it next. No wins for my stable. By the way 401 lost to a LT500. Not bad. I saw Dolarbillz and he was having some problems with his quad. Ernie was there also and he ran good. One other craycraft was there and I was impressed by his quad but I can never remember his name. The most fun was at the end we the track was open and we just ran. Good luck with the head gasket.

 

All i want to know is when the next race is that we are going to meet up at? AND where?

 

My head gasket came in today. Going to put it on tomorrow and get ready for next weekend. Should be headed back to the dunes. Not sure whos going with me, but there should be a couple of riders. Anyone else going?

Meaner, Thats $ucks that they did that to you. Hopefully next year it will be better. That Baja must have been running good. Atleast it was a Ds that won it.

 

No big deal. I still had fun. I was glad a Bomb won that class. We need to all meet up at the Red River. The drags are great there. Oh yeah and its free. We could all meet up on a sat and camp. Big bonfire and ride sun. Paddles required. Some pretty fast bikes hang there.

 

How far is that from Alexandria?

 

I dont know from there because the way I go isnt a straight shot but It takes me about 3hrs to get to the dunes. When I go to the river it takes about 2 but there is probably a straight shot that would cut it alot Im sure. Its just the other side of Bogota across in Oklahoma.

 

This weekend is out for me. Going to be going to Atlanta, Ga. for the SEC CHampionship game. GEAUX TIGERS. When do you think you are going back to the River Meaner. I want to make it and do some racing. Maybe we can plan a weekend.

 

Any weekend is cool I just need to know about a week in advance. Jan would be good just let me know.
