the former site of the blackwater 100 offroad event in davis,wv used to be open to riders year round. I have been there and ridden, even camped for a weekend of riding. I am having one heck of a time finding the current status of that site. I have heard that it was closed, then that it reopened........I am confused. I am looking for a place to take the family camping & riding in the next few weeks, and would like blackwater to be my spot. I just need to know the current status before I waste 2.5 hrs driving there. can any of you wv residents shed some light?
