Default winter riding in sacto area

Went to stony fork today, It's a hell of a place to go riding. Lots of hills, streams to cross and lot of big puddles. There's over 200 miles of trails. we rode 22 rough miles at times. My one friend had a brand new rancher, first time out, he was real happy with it. It seemed overpriced to me, I think he probably could have got a vinson, or even a grizzly for what he paid for the rancher. Anyway back to stony fork, it's hills, hills, and more hills, real rocky, and rough. Not a place for speed, lots of climbing, the hills just seemed to go on and on. We had a blast, and were soaked through when we finally had enough. I reccomend it, and think most riders would find something challenging. regor
