I was wondering if anyone has ever been to Big Cypress park. I was looking for any information on the park and the rules, also wondering if you could ride the ATV double. Any information would be great. Thanks

 

I lived in Fla for over 25 years and left about 2 years ago.
I use to Hunt the Big Cypress wildlife management area "Bear Island" and ATV's where allowed in there.
Alot of Black Bear in there now and they have lost there fear of man.
I was there about 3 years ago hunting and the bears where pestering me, not allow to hunt them.

i live in south fla i've rode big cypress before with a couple of guys you have to take an orentation class about park rules what not pretty boring they inspect your bike tires have to be a minium of 9inch wide meaning if you got 25-8-12 you wont pass inspection ummm you can't ride 2 to a bike it's not a park rule but they will citation you for it we rode bear island a couple of times never saw no bears just some dear and crossed some water with a gator nothin i aint use to there's all sorts of trails to ride concho billy's trail is suppose to be good but you have to have tires for that bear island is basically you have to stick to the trails nothing really hard about it if i believe it's a $50 registration fee every 6 months and you get reinspected everytime inspections should be opening up if you go to http://bigcypress.areaparks.com/ it'll give you alot of the info on it
