i cant help you out with the trails,im looking for some myself.but there is a pretty new race track on highway 12 going into montevallo.its called triple t's.i live very close to it it they are always having races(i hear em 24/7),but i havnt had a chance to check it out myself.my friends say its great so check it out its only about and hour from b'ham

Try Little river canyon in Fort Payne . Went up there last Sept from Florida and rode. You are required to get a permit from the park ranger. Permits are free of charge you must have a valid drivers licensse. The trails a very well maintained. A group of us rented a cabin right down the road from the park.
