I havn't been on them but I know they're up there. An old roommate of mine from Hinkley wants me to come up there to go riding. Next time I talk to him I'll get some specifics.

Go east of Hinckley almost to the St. Croix river then go north on the last road before the river. (Minnesota side) There is a parking area and trails to suit most kinds of riding. Maps are available from the Minnesota DNR
Have a good ride!

Bill's right. Go east bout 25 miles to Danbury. You can catch the Gandy Dancer trail from there and go just about anywhere in northern MN. St. Croix State park is just north of Danbury on the Gandy and has a decent amount of trails for a day ride. Or you could go further north to Nemadji State forest ( we call it Ne-MUD-ji for obvious reasons). Go further north and catch the Soo line in Moose Lake, you can take that west all the way to Cass lake or down to Mille lacs. The Gandy and the Soo Line are old RR tracks that have been converted to trail so they can be kinda boring but you can find hundreds of miles of trails (all legal)branching off of these main arteries. You can take trails east from Danbury into Wisconsin and go all the way to the upper peninsula in Michigan. Hope this helps.
