I'm a west coast guy, just retired & planning to see the USA from my ATV. I hope to spend next fall and winter and maybe spring in the northeast or New England area where I can see the fall colors and ride in the snow. I would like to hear from you east coast guys about a good target area where there are lots of trails, lots of scenery, lots of folks to ride with, pro-ATV officialdom, atv club contacts, and maybe even part time employment (I'm a AICP certified City Planner). When I zero in on a target area, I will check out towns nearby for housing and part time employment.

Lot's of trails in New England. Unfortunately, not alot of them are legal. If you want to see foliage, and snow, you might want to set your sights just a little further north. The province of Quebec, Cn has literally 1000's of miles of groomed atv trails. The cost is $100 Canadian for an entire season pass good from 10/31 until 10/31 of the following year. There are many clubs up there that maintain some of the best trails I have ever seen. This is very "quad friendly" area.
