Butler Pa Switchback MX TRACK
#1
I finally made it to the prcatice MX that they have mostly every Thursday til 9:00 at night. I's locaterd about 20 mils north of Butler Pa. What a blast although I would recommed the Killbuck Ohio MX more for ATV riding but then I'm a beginner & prefer the easier jumps which seems safer plus there is hardly any traffic as compaired to Switchback which seemed crowded & it wasn't even a busy night someone said. The bikes watch out for ATV's a stay clear of us. You have to maintain a straight line if followed by a bike IE dont cut in front of them or you'll get hit. The bikes fly by comparison to ATV's. I have a modified Polaris, my friend rode his 250R, a kid was ther on his blaster, an older guy was there on his Warior & another on the 400ex. So there was a wide range of ATV's there & you dont have to have a MX quad. It was a real blast & allot of fun. Never under estimate a Blaster on a MX track is one thing I learned. This 15 yr old kid on the Blaster was probably the faster ATV on the track. He was jumping higher farther faster tahn any of us. I couldn't believe it but then he goes there all the time & the rest of us it was our first time. I guess since they are so light they have no problem w/ jumping.
