Has anyone ever ridden the trails around the North Shore by Duluth, Minnesota. Someone has told me that it is really excellent riding, just wanted some other opinions on that trail system. Might make a trip up there sometime.

 

nope but planning on doing gilbert and some of the other trails up there this summer . i for get all the trail names but i got maps thats all i need

 

i wasnt aware that there are any trails around the north shore.........public ones anyway........sounds like a nice area but you better double check the state trail maps

 

there are trails such as Red Dot (not to be confused with Red Top) near the North Shore. The actual North Shore Trai is currently closed if I'm not mistaken, but the MNDNR is proposing to open 200 miles worth of trails in MN. The North Shore Trail is part of that and would get riders access into Canada.
