Default Michigan trails???.....anyone anyone!!!

I'm getting bored with the same old same old trail. Where are ALL the trails at in Michigan? I would like to know where the trails are at and how to get there. i know Bull gap in Mio and heard of Sliver lake but never been there. But where are all the trails in the lower part of Michigan? I dont really care at this point, i would just like a new place to ride, that has room. Names and directions would be grate!!!

Little O and Big O in Baldwin, Mi(lake County)... Those trials are pretty nice, Big O has alot of technical spots, while there are some other spots in and around little O that offers alot of chances to open her up!

Check out the DNR web site. All trails and printable trail maps can be found there. Denton-Leota aint too bad. you can get all the way to M-18 Houghton Lake on those trails. Gladwin is way wooped out, and sugar sand.
Its up to you where to go. Depends on where you are staying. If you are camping trailside there are alot of
nice spots to be found along the Muskegon River. We usually camp somwhere within a few miles of a state park
so we can shower after the days ride.

Iron Mountain area. Right on the border of Florence Wis and Iron Mountain Mich. Great trails, campgrounds, and lakes.

Yeah Madman,
You would probably tell somone to eat the icing before the cake. St. Helen is one of the best areas to ride in that
region of the state. Great place on an off weekend, and riding at night. IMO If you hit St. Helen before hitting
Gladwin, or Denton-Leota trail systems you will get spoiled. Leota trails are great, alot of scenery along the river
you will see wildlife too.

If you really want to find places to ride print the free trail maps from the DNR web site. Get a map for the county you are riding at. Between the two maps you will be all set. Compass or gps is handy to have on you, getting lost
with a half tank can be fun too.

Good Luck
