I live in Columbus and not sure whats open to ride right now? The weather has been so nice I want to go riding but unsure what parks are open and where they are located if any?

Wayne National doesn't open until April. If you feel like heading south about 2 hours Big Rock in Maysville, KY is open year round. New Vienna MX park has been open on the nicer weekends - it's in Clinton County south east of Wilmington.

 

Trx-450 can fill you in on some places close to Columbus to ride,usually we send invites by e-mail since some of the riding is in "Private" areas There is also a group of us who get togeather fairly often and go on some southern ohio adventures courtesy of a guy calling himself Mothman, hes a great trailguide and these are some good wintertime rides, just had one last week.

if ya dont mind a 3 hour drive ,,,,WELLSVILLE OHIO is about the best there is when it comes to any off road riding.let me know if your interested ill get some directions to ya.

 

where is wellsville? i'm about 1 hr north of columbus.

I don't know of any local places in Columbus anymore. If anyone knows of any (private) places please point them out. We were kicked out of the place on 270 southbound on the east side. The city of Columbus bought it and then threw up all kinds of signs. (I guess we were to noisy for the interstate?) I know someone had a petition going around trying to get the place opened back up but so far I haven't heard any good news from that. At one point they even had a article in the Dispatch about it.
If anyone has any property even if its a open field so I can run the Quad for 20 minutes that would be great. I have a Z-400 that is picking up dust from the long winter wait......... Two weeks till Perry and a Month for Wayne... Come on Spring!!!

Their are some places i no of. They are Crows canyon,Bear Creek,elsins street you can look these up online for directons.



These places are a lot of fun!
