Sand-pits in NH or MA
#2
I know that there are some great pits located in Templeton, MA as well as Clinton, MA. I really have only been to Templeton once and there were many people there riding. Also some really large hill shoots there as well....

I have been to Clinton once. It was last year.
While I may have expected more, the place was alright. I am not sure if it is "legal" to ride there, but a few friends of mine ride there quite often.
I have heard about DEP out there, but the people were registered for Mass trails, so they did not bother them. Just checked the paperwork.
At Clinton, there is a smalll track, no jumps, but a lot of whoops from the bikes. In the back pits, there are more jumps. Some of them are pretty big.
I am from CT, and there is a sand pits right behind my house. People would be there all weekend long, but this past year, the owner brought the police a quad and they are kicking everyone out.
Good luck finding "legal" sand here in New England.
You can always race at Southwick. We ahve a race there in Aug. 27th. It is a pure sand track, and the same one that the national bikes use.
This weekeend I am heading out to EBMX in Eagle Bridge NY. They have two tracks there. While it is a pretty good practice track, they are new, and constantly getting better. Plus they are the only track I know of that allows quad to practice.
Up in NH, there is Jolly Roger in Lempster. We have a race there next weekend. Aug 6th I think.
If you want more info, let me know.
