Went to the Badlands today for the first time. What a great place to ride !

There is everything you could want there. Waist deep mud, sand hills, gravel hills, hardpack hills, trails, dunes. It's all there. 700 acres of fun, and plenty of opportunities to get hurt, if that's what your' in to.

They allow dirt bikes, and a few small areas for 4x4 trucks. And more ATVs' than you would want to count.

I'm about an hour and a few minutes from there, but would drive a few hours if I had to to get there once in a while.

Well there are lots of rules, and they'll tell you about 'em as you drive in the gate. The most important ones are: helmet at all times, no alcohol allowed in park, sometimes they say you have to be wearing SOME type of boot, and if you dont have a flag, you'll have to buy one there.

I think the URL is http://www.badlandsoffroad.com
