MICHIGAN TRAILS
In the U.P. paradise has some pretty sweet trails.
as for the lower penn. i would avoid the deer creek loop in lewiston that trail was real tight for a quad and complete woops. I made it 1/2 around and headed back and went looking for better trails. There are a ton in the lewiston, mio, luzerne, atlanta area. In Montmorency county you can ride on the side of the road on any road less than a highway but in oscoda you can't ride on the side of the road period.

I would suggest staying away from gladwin trails. Also the Denton-Leota loop. Dnr are horrible around there. You have to stay on the marked orv trails no if's and's or but's. The trails are cut to narrow for a quad, nothing but 2 to 3 foot moguls, lucky to get out of second gear for more than 100 ft. I just rode the Bull gap trail system, taking off from the farthest south-east parking spot. It's all snowmobile trails, very fun, but a little rocky. I rode st. helen trails too, not bad, a little rough tho. I here that they do go through and knock down the moguls there twice a year.
