Anyone have any areas with dunes close to WI?????

dunes closest to WI

Silver Lake, Michigan, you can either drive all the way, or take the SS Badger ferry from Manitawoc to Ludington, or the new Lake Express ferry from Milwaukee to Muskegon. The Badger runs about 4 hrs, the other is about 2.5 hours, but both will cost a bit for a truck, trailer and quad round trip. Depends on if you like driving through Chicago or not, at least with the ferry, you get a little break from driving. Be aware, Silver Lake has a 94 or 96 db limit, can't remember which, and a spark arrestor is required.
