I talked to the local police yesterday and asked them about their view on ATV's. He replied, "Well, you know that you have to register them and insure them". He also added that right now, legislature is being pondered by the state to make them street legal for licensed drivers who have them registered and insured. I assume that a motorcycle license and a rider safety course would be mandated and if the law is a spin-off from the motorcycle helmet law, persons under 21 would have to wear a helmet. This is good news in my opinion!
