Default Track Liabilities in Oklahoma

My buddy just built a track in Northeast Oklahoma. We are wondering how we can keep him from getting into trouble if somone gets hurt. He is going to charge a small fee to cover the cost of watering down the track and maintaining the track. If anyone has a copy of an Oklahoma track waiver I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Brandon

Where are you talking about in NE Oklahoma? Sounds interesting to me...and my group...Rebel Outlaws.

You obviously have concerns about liability...why chance it by listening to anyone one here? CONSULT A LICENSED ATTORNY IN YOUR AREA.

My wife is a lawyer, but doesn't practice. We have it taken care of now though. I just thought some one might have one from a track that would save my wife some work.

I think when you start charging people......you enter into a whole different set of rules....just a thought. Kinda like hunting.....if you lease your land here in Okla to allow people to hunt, then the land owner is liable for some things.....but if you allow people to hunt for free, then the land owner has NO liabilty(as per the Okla game and fish regulations).

Even though you have people sign a release of liability against you. It still doesn't indemnify you from being sued.
