I think he's asking how does he cross with his ATV...
That I don't know. I've crossed on snowmobiles before [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] but usually I'll ride the area around the bridge and have friends meet me with a trailer to get across. I believe there are some trailering services there (although I'm not 100% sure) that for a price will transport the quick trip over the bridge and drop you off at the trail head there.

sounds great I will call the lodge and talk to them tonight, how meny miles of trail on this side of bridge if you can't ride over.

There are too many trails directly on either side of the bridge for you to cover in a weekend. michigan dnr website has maps you can print out of quite a few atv trails in the state.

I just talked to the owner of the brentwood lodge, sounds like the place i'm looking for, I'm going to start making plans on going there, will be there fry 15 oct around 10-1130 am. ready to ride. staying untill late sat night then head back to grand rapids.

Yes its legal. There are a few trails in the winter that are marked Snowmobile only but rest are open to riding.
Prairie - Glad to hear it was a good fit for you. I liked it alot - and its right off of I75 as well. If you like to gamble of course the casino is only 1/2 hr or so away too.
Still dickin around with the dealer to get my Sportsman purchased.

Great! Yeah its crazy...I've sent the dealer like 9 emails (we go back and forth a few times) and I don't get a response for a day or two. Might have to head over there but I hate setting foot on the grounds till I have a deal in hand.
Just shocking...I am trying to hook up a buddy pack of two 2004 ATV's and you'd think I was buying a hyundai or something the way the dealership is draggin its feet. I may have to go look elsewhere.
